I do admit, Android has some backlogs for some of its users. But when compared to other mobile operating systems like the iOS or the Symbian etc…Android beats all of them, getting the first place with almost a 52% of the smartphone users. Yes, the Google’s Android wins over iPhone, Nokia, Windows and everything else. Android has got everything an Operating system should be having, if you’ve Android then you have the world in your hands. There is always a dedicated Android application to do a specific task.

10 Things About Android That Could Beat Any Other OS:
The best part of Android is its support to maps and the GPS system, the OS itself provides maps inbuilt and as all of you know, the Android Marketplace has tons of maps in them. The Google maps are the best among all other GPS systems. You might go with it, rather getting an offline and expensive map for the iPhone or the Windows. Though, you can get the same offline maps on Android for free.
2. The Lovely Notification Bar
The interesting feature all the android users know. And a most interesting feature that any other smartphone user should know. The Google’s Android Notification Bar on the home screen featuring Emails, SMS, Facebook Notifications, Battery Charge, Task Manager etc..let you manage the whole bunch of things from a single touch.
3. Never ending database of Apps
If you are going to get an Android, you could just blindly get it for just the Applications. The Android Marketplace almost has a billion applications including Games and other applications. Here in Android, everything is available as an App. Where in iOS or Nokia, you’ve to search for the App you need (You might not get the search result in the Nokia Ovi Store). Getting to the App Stores, Android is still the leader among the iPhone App Store and the Windows Market Place
4. Carrier’s Choice
Most of the countries stick to the Verizon or the AT&T for the iPhone and most of the Windows Phones. But here in Android, you can pick your own Carrier which you think the best of your region, without any restrictions.
5. Hotspot and Tethering Support
Most (all most every) Android handset let you create a Virtual Hotspot, which helps you in sharing your device’s internet connection with the other device that has Wi-fi in it. Windows 7 Phones doesn’t even allow tethering.
6. Screen Resolution
The Android devices are between 3.2′ to 7′ inches. With Android, HTC Aria which has a 3.2′ inch HSGA screen, or the 4.3′ screen on the Droid X or Sprint EVO. Even a 5′inch on the Dell Tab and 7′ on the Galaxy Tab. With the iPhone, you’re supposed to stick to the 3.5′ which is a big fail!!.
7. Voice Actions
Windows Phone 7 has just got a voice recognition, and the iPhone does do voice controls. But nothing is comparable to the Android’s Voice Control system, where you can do just about anything. When comes to Siri it won’t work for Indians perfectly
8. Fastest Browser
Internet browsing is the most important thing on any other smartphone. The Android browsers support the flash and make the page look as if on a desktop. Here’s the thing I should admit, the Safari browser on the iOS, is just awesome rather to another browser on the Droid.
[UPDATE] Now all android phone latest firmware using Chrome and cast the old internet browser.
9. Better Buttons
While iPhone ends up with only home button, Windows Phone does a little better with search and back button. Android is just perfect with an extra button for the Settings Menu.
10. The Google’s Voice
Let users routing calls over the Internet and cheap international service by Google Voice save your pocket. While it is available on iOS and Windows Phone as a web service, Google Voice is just better than nothing.
So, after reading this I wouldn’t be going with iOS, Bada & Symbian at all. As Android is good and available for cheap mobile phones as well, I would prefer it! Only
